With these programs you spent you holiday caring for, or researching wildlife, you can also choose to teach English to the local people or helping out in out in an orphanage. There are several projects that are dedicated to wildlife research as well as projects concerning healthcare or social aspects.For both the volunteers and wildlife expedition programs you pay a certain fee per week, this fee covers your insurance, room and board, plus all other expenses made for the purpose of your stay.

August 12, 2006 - Kenya Airways issues extra security rules for travellers
Yesterday Kenya Airways issued new security rules for their passengers because of a failed terrorist plot in London.Because of new measures, issued by Heathrow Airport plains departing from or landing at Kenyan Airports will be affected accordingly. One hour before departure Kenya Airport check-in counters will be closed. The baggage restrictions will not allow you to carry a handbag on board, you can only take your travel documents and bare essentials.
for example;
- Pocket sized wallet and purse for money or credit cards.
- Prescribed medication, liquid forms need to be verified as authentic.
- Reading and Sunglasses without casing.
- Contact lenses, without bottles of solution.
- Keys without electrical holder.
- Sanitary items, food and milk when traveling with a baby.
All items that are not mentioned above need to be checked in. Also you are not allowed to carry on any electrical or battery powered items, like laptops, mobile phones, Ipods or remote controls etc.
All passengers will be hand-searched and their, shoes, wheelchairs and walking aids will be X-rayed.
